Wii Games Guide To Downloading

There are a few things that are necessary to be able to download games for your Wii Console.
1) It goes without saying, but you first need a computer. It does not need to be the newest Dell monster gaming rig or anything like that, merely a reasonably modern PC will do-as long as it’s less than about five years old you should be fine.
2) An Internet connection. To get Wii game downloads, an internet connection is required. As far as this goes, usually the more modern the better. Games are pretty big files these days so you will really appreciate a fast connection here. If you don’t have one, the downloads will still work just fine, except they will take a little longer.
3) You will find yourself quite overwhelmed when you see the large selection of downloads that are available to you. On my first couple of visits to the game download site I did not download anything because I could not decide what I wanted to play first. So, before you go, have an idea what type of game you are looking for.
4) You have to get the games from somewhere, right? Sometimes that is the toughest part. Most homes today have a computer and a decent internet connection. So check mark on #1 and #2. Because of the dangers on the internet today most people are very cautious about what they download. Some people will look to Peer to Peer or torrent sites to find games (and you can find some there). However, those are mostly illegal and you are more open to hackers, so that is probably not the best idea. That is an open invitation to some not so friendly stuff on your computer.
5) Thankfully, over the last few months a few much better alternatives have started showing up. These websites are revolutionary, in that they will charge you a one off fee in order to get access to their huge catalog of downloadable games. It’s not only games either, you can usually find movies and TV shows there too. The downloads are pretty fast, and they are always in good condition, unlike the things found at the P2P sites. Some of these newer sites really are the best way to download games for Wii.
