Another myth surrounding web design is, using large spectrum of colors makes a site more attractive and appealing to the viewer. Reality says that a website has to be attractive but for that adding unnecessary colors is not needed. Visitors get irritated if there are too many myriad of colors. Therefore color selection has to be complementing the site theme and aim of the website. Its a common and widespread myth that in order to increase a website attractiveness addition of flash is necessary. However during the last past few years use of flash in advertising and animation has increased by leaps and bounds. These flash banners can meet up the expectations if they are used in an efficient manner. Main disadvantage associated with flash banners is, they download at faster speed when they are attached with higher internet speed connection. A good and experienced website designer knows that not all computers have the option of flash plug-ins leading to loss of visitors.
